Violin virtuoso plays Tchaikovsky
Tchaikovsky's famous Violin Concerto is one of the most gloriously romantic, richly melodic and fiendishly difficult of them all - virtuoso Andrew Haveron is the player to do it full justice under conductor John Wilson. Khachaturian's Adagio from Spartacus, aka the theme to the Onedin Line, is among the other treats in an all-Russian programme. Thursday 29 March, National Concert Hall.

Music of Henry Mancini with his daughter
Daughter of famed film composer Henry Mancini joins the RTÉ CO for one night only. Monica Mancini sings some of his classic numbers like Moon River, Charade and Days of Wine and Roses while the orchestra take centre stage for The Pink Panther and more. Monica Mancini has carved out an impressive career as a concert performer and recording artist and has already been nominated for two Grammy Awards. Thursday 23 February, National Concert Hall.
